What does Caliper do?
You drop in a logo (SVG, PNG or JPG) and Caliper traces its outline, then finds the geometry already in it: the circles its curves follow, the key angles, its proportions, and anchor points. It lays all of that out as a clean construction slide you can put straight into a pitch deck, record as a timelapse, or print as a poster.
Does it work on any logo?
Caliper handles many kinds of marks, including wordmarks, symbols and monograms. Clean SVG or high-resolution PNG files give the most reliable results. Tiny trademark symbols, distressed lettering and 3D effects may need review before presenting a construction as exact.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Caliper runs entirely in your browser, so your client's logo never leaves your computer. The only thing that talks to our server is the licence check, which sends your email and licence key.
Is it really a one-time payment?
Yes. You pay once and your licence keeps working for as long as Caliper exists. There is no subscription and no renewal. If you need more seats later, you can upgrade and pay only the difference between plans.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Open the app and trace your own logos for free. A licence unlocks exporting slides, timelapses and posters.
What's the difference between the plans?
Solo gives one computer the essentials: tracing and 1080p proof slides. Craftsman Pro adds everything else — 4K, timelapse video, exploded-view posters and your studio's name on every slide — across three computers. Studio and Agency give the same features to teams of 8 and 25.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Hindi and Japanese. You can even set the slide labels to your client's language while keeping the app in yours.
How do I pay from outside South Africa?
Payments go through PayFast, which accepts Visa and Mastercard from anywhere. Prices are in South African rand; your bank converts automatically.
